So how does it work?We have tried to make the process as simple and straightforward as possible. You can book online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Or if you\u2019d prefer to talk to a real person, we\u2019re happy to take you call between 7am and 7pm.<\/p>\n<p>On the day, checking into paintball involves signing waivers, paying for paintball packages\/protection\/upgrades, getting kitted out, and attending a mandatory safety briefing, after which you\u2019ll head out to the fields to start playing games that are fully supervised by a referee, there are breaks in between games to give you the chance to reload and rehydrate.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. <\/strong><strong>Organising a Session<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pick a Date\/Time:<\/strong> We recommend you book at least 2 weeks in advance to make sure you get the date and time that you want.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secure Session:<\/strong> Pay a deposit to secure your spots, you can pay on the day or collect the funds from everyone\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collect Funds:<\/strong> If possible collect money from everyone and pay the full amount at least 3 days in advance to take advantage of our group prepaid deals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>2. <\/strong><strong>Arrival &amp; Check-in<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sign in:<\/strong> Turn up at least 15 to 30 minutes before check-in time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Waivers:<\/strong> Everyone (including parents for kids) signs liability waivers, agreeing to follow safety rules.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Payment:<\/strong> Pay for your package, protection items and\/or upgrades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>3. Gear Up &amp; Safety Briefing<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get equipped:<\/strong> Put on overalls (if hired) and paintball harness, then make sure your mask fits properly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Safety first:<\/strong> You\u2019ll attend a compulsory safety briefing covering field rules, how to use markers, and what to do when you get shot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>4. <\/strong><strong>Gameplay<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Game Start:<\/strong> A referee (Paintball Host) explains scenario rules (e.g., capture the flag) and referees the games.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Game Flow:<\/strong> Sessions have 6 x\u00a0 10 minute games, broken into 3 sets with short rest breaks for refills and to allow everyone to rehydrate.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Extra Paintballs:<\/strong> You start with a set amount and can get more either during the game or breaks, you can pay for extra paintballs at the end of the session.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>K<\/strong><strong>ey Things to Know<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BYO Paintball Masks:<\/strong> Must be specific paintball masks with chin strap.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Paintballs:<\/strong> Only use paint purchased at the field; bringing your own is NOT allowed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>On-Field:<\/strong> Listen to your referee; they manage the game and keep players safe. Failure to follow the rules will result in a player being asked to leave the game zone.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Call Your Hits<\/strong>: You\u2019re \u201cout\u201d when hit and marked by paint.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Typically, you can&#8217;t just arrive and start playing; most paintball fields require you to book ahead, especially if you&#8217;re in a group. That said, some fields have &#8216;walk-on&#8217; public sessions on weekends where individuals or small groups can join in on existing games.
