Private Sessions – for 10 or more people that do not play well with others!

At Valhalla Paintball, we totally understand that most people who come to play paintball just want to have fun with their friends, which is why we offer private sessions. It’s not that they do not play well with others, it’s just that they’re not keen on playing with strangers. Indoor paintball centres usually can’t host private sessions for smaller groups due to lack of space, and many outdoor parks choose not to in order to keep costs down. Even if they do, there might be conditions and extra fees that they don’t typically advertise on their websites.

Modern paintball fields, or game zones, aren’t nearly as large as they used to be back in the pump-action hide and seek days! When I kicked off my paintball journey in the 90s, a session would last all day, and in the afternoon, we’d dive into a 3-hour capture the flag match on a 15-acre field!  We’d sometimes have up to 120 players in one session. It was a blast, as long as everyone played fair.

Sadly, there were times when a few players, or even a whole group, would spoil the fun for everyone. They wouldn’t go out when tagged and would shoot at someone who was already out. Even though they were kicked out straight away, I’m sure that groups who played by the rules decided not to return because of those troublemakers.

But with the rise of semi-auto paintball markers, the pace picked up, and the fields started shrinking. Nowadays, most game zones are just big enough for 30 to 40 players to enjoy comfortably. With a private session, if you have at least 10 players, you can have your own game zone! Plus, you can pick from 3 additional game packages! You also have 4 exclusive session times available for private groups instead of the usual 2.

To qualify for a private session, you’ll need at least 10 players, and we require that everyone prepays for the standard package before the session. For groups of 14 or more, you can start with the basic package, but we do recommend considering the standard package. From what we’ve seen, when you’re shooting at friends, you might get a little more trigger happy compared to shooting at strangers.

To secure your preferred date and time, we suggest paying a deposit as soon as possible. Collect the required prepaid amount from everyone in your group and make sure to pay the outstanding balance at least 3 days before the session.

We also provide closed sessions that aren’t open to the public. VIP sports teams or celebrities can enjoy a fun day of paintball without worrying about taking selfies with fans or having paparazzi snapping photos when they’re just trying to have a good time!
